Data Center Project Manager

Location: Inzai, Chiba

We are hiring a Data Center Project Manager to lead construction, expansion, and refurbishment projects for mission-critical data center facilities in Japan. This role works closely with local vendors and global stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, and within scope.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of data center construction and upgrade projects
Oversee facility-related designs including building, electrical power, UPS, generators, and HVAC systems
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and facility vendors
Control schedule, cost, quality, and project risks
Serve as the main contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Communicate with overseas teams in English
Prepare and manage project documentation in Japanese and English

Requirements

Native-level Japanese and business-level English
Strong understanding of construction, electrical, and HVAC systems
Experience working with contractors, design firms, and facility vendors

Preferred

Hands-on experience in data center design, build, or operations
Project management or engineering-related certifications
Experience working on global or cross-border projects
