General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager
Deep expertise in hospitality and operations within the luxury food and beverage industry
Proven leadership and managerial skills
Strong background in cost accounting, developing budgets, financial planning, and strategic decisionmaking
Focus on team development, positive culture, and implementation of effective systems and SOPs
Sommelier certification is a plus

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

Experience with French service techniques and luxury restaurant environments
Exceptional communication and customer focus
Track record in process improvement and quality standards

General Manager DaytoDay Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations and nightly service to ensure exceptional guest experiences
Maintain Michelin star service standards by training and developing staff in fine dining techniques and culture
Develop and implement policies, SOPs, and productive service standards, continually seeking opportunities to improve quality
Monitor and enhance guest and employee satisfaction through ongoing evaluation of food, beverage, and service offerings
Build and nurture relationships with valued patrons and regular guests
Collaborate with the leadership team on financial planning, cost control measures, and business strategies
