Company Profile

A new AI software firm in the Japanese market, that help address some of the most pressing challenges for retailers is now hiring for a retail-specialized Business Consultant to lead their first customer implementation in Japan.

The Role

As a Business Consultant, you will lead and deliver software implementation projects across the full lifecycle. You will drive customer value through process design, business analysis, tool configuration, training, and change management.

• You will be part of an APAC consulting team, consisting of 8 consultants spread out across the APAC region
• Lead end-to-end software implementation and consulting projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor, aligning best practices with customer strategy
• Support pre-sales with scoping, value assessment, benefit analysis, and ROI case creation.
• Lead workshops and define solution design.

Your Skills

• Must have work experience within the broader retail domain i.e. grocery, convenience, cosmetics, food & beverage etc. either as a consultant or in a "business corporation" / "operating company" setting.
• Must have a good understanding of retail operations processes such as replenishment and forecasting
• Understanding of how value is created in supply chain and core retail processes
• Consultative skill set, preferably with proven experience leading projects
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Native or near-native Japanese / business level English
